Nematoda
Nematoda is a diverse phylum. In this phylum you have an organism named Nematodes. A nematode is a roundworm. Nematodes are known as the most numerous multicellular animals on Earth. There are over 20,000 species of Nematodes. what makes this animal unique us that they have openings on both ends of their body and they are used for the DIGESTIVE SYSTEM. Most of these species are considered parasitic meaning they can be harmful to pants, animals, and humans, causing important diseases.
Nematodes Digestive System !
The nematodes Digestive System is unique because they have different body than other organisms. There are three parts to the digestive system; the stomodeum, intestine, and proctodeum. In the stomodeum you have the mouth, esophagus, and the cavity between the jaws and the cheeks. The intestines is the whole alimentary canal form the mouth downward. This is where the food goes after it is taken in. The last step proctodeum represents the back ectodermal part of an alimentary canal. All of these steps are important and necessary in order for all of the species of the nematoda to survive.
